Film Review: The Last Light (Ed Quinn, Furlong & Fahey) Waiting out a mystery apocalypse with personal dramas aplenty

The Last Light, with Edward Furlong, Ed Quinn & Jeff Fahey.  Director, Andrew Hyatt.  Any film with Furlong is (almost) guaranteed to be a dud & this one was no exception.  However; the cast did give it a go with extensive discussion & attitude, since that was all the film had to offer & the actors were each fairly interesting.  Aside from Furlong, that is.

Quinn is the focus in this movie, which sports no special effects whatsoever.  Not even a plastic monster mask, seen at a distance.  He’s not that bad, but flubbed lines every once in a while show us his & their quality, periodically.  With Fahey ending up being the only real cinema ranking member of this cast, who remains excellent in all that he does, even in atrocities such as this.

There is nothing to recommend this cheap movie for anything but avoidance.  It’s literally, a lot of nothing.
